How to Count Days
Counting days between dates can be tricky depending on whether you include the start or end dates.
- Standard Difference: This calculates the number of nights between two dates. For example, Monday to Tuesday is 1 day.
- Inclusive Count: This counts every calendar day touched by the range. Monday to Tuesday is 2 days. Use the "Include End Date" toggle for this.
Business Days Calculation
The "Business Days" count excludes Saturdays and Sundays. This is useful for:
- Project Planning: Estimating work days for deadlines.
- Shipping: Calculating delivery windows (e.g., "5-7 business days").
- Payroll: Verifying work days in a pay period.
Note: This calculator does not automatically exclude public holidays as they vary by country.
